Happy Grandparents Day 2021
27/1/'21 Today we should have been celebrating Grandparents Day in Scoil Chaitríona, as part of Catholic School's Week. We have very fond memories of last years celebration with the school full to the brim with our wonderful grandparents. This year the Corona Virus has kept us all apart. We want all our grandparents to know that you are always in the hearts of the children of Scoil Chaitróna and they all look forward to giving you a real hug instead of the virtual ones we have had to become used to. We look forward to that day. Here is a little prayer for all our grandparents.
26/1/'21 ACTIVE FLAG |
As part of our Active Flag we are asking families to take part in our WALK, RUN or CYCLE 5km (staying within our 5km travel limit) over the next two weeks. Please post pictures of you and your family exercising safely so we can post them on the school's website. Please let us know when you have completed your 5km, how many people in your family completed it and send all pictures to cappamorejuniorsandseniors@gmail.com. We will add up the distances we travel every week and see where that distance would take you in Ireland and what places of interest you would pass travelling this distance. We will then post information about these sites around Ireland. See get your running, walking and cycling shoes on and let's get moving for Scoil Chaitríona.
