SOCCER WORKSHOP WITH CARA AND NAOISE
June 3rd: We were delighted to welcome back two of our prized and talented past pupils Cara and Naoise Griffin with Shane Ryan from Treaty United, to hold a workshop with 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Class. They had a great session and the girls were a great example to our own present pupils.

Well done to the girls from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class who bravely played two exciting matches against Bilboa and Caherconlish recently in Doon.
LIAM Mc CARTHY COMES TO SCOIL CHAITRÍONA
On Wednesday the 18th of May member of the U20 Limerick Hurling team arrived with the Liam McCarthy Cup accompanied by Callum who was our GAA trainer earlier this year. There was great excitement and everyone got their hands on Liam. Let's hope we hold on to it this year again. Luimneach Abú.
Thursday 12/5/'22: Well done to the Scoil Chaitriona, Cappamore, school football team who played in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil competition. They played brilliantly but unfortunately lost by a goal to Cloverfield. Thank you to Miss Sheehy for training the children.
Tuesday 10/5/''22 FAI Open Day
Well done to the boys and girls from Scoil Chaitríona and Bilboa NS who took part in the FAI Fun Day. It was great to see so many children enjoying the soccer games. Many thanks to our local SPAR for sponsoring this event. Check out all the action on the Cappamore Celtic FB page.
Limerick Sports Partnership Athletics Day
On Wednesday the 30th March, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th all went to the UL Arena for an amazing day participating in the Athletics Day run by Limerick Sports Partnership. The children have been training, with their teachers, for this event for the last number of weeks and the fitness and stamina of the children has really developed so well. Well done to all who participated in this event and a great day was had by all.

Dare to Believe Tokyo Challanege
Over the past four weeks Scoil Chaitríona have worked hard to clocking up the KMs at school & at home to complete the Dare to Believe Tokyo challenge(all in support of our Olympic athletes who compete there this July & August.

We were very fortunate to receive access to stencils for school yard games from Limerick Sports Partnership.
Dare to Believe - Road to Tokyo Challenge
Let's get active and see how far we can get on the road to Tokyo. All classes are competing against each other to be active for 60 minutes a day and move our school along the map while learning about the Olympic Games.

Scoil Chaitríona are taking part in Limerick Sports Partnership's obstacle home/school challenge!

Well done to Jake Slattery who made the East Limerick School Football team.

Third & Fourth class took part in the F.A.I. indoor 5 a-side Primary school's competition. Thanks to Barry McGann from the F.A.I. for supporting our school & we look forward to you visiting our school in the coming week for the F.A.I. school development programme.
