Our school tour
Last Friday May 22nd, Junior Infants, Senior Infants, First and second class went to Stonehall farm and Delta.
We went on a big bus and had great fun singing songs and chatting to our friends. When we got to Stonehall farm we had great fun playing on the bouncing castle and riding on the go-carts. After our yummy lunch our tour guide Christy shows us all the amazing birds and animals on the farm. They had peacocks, alpacas, owls, deer, macaws and pigs to name a few but our favourite one was the spitting lama. He was very naughty and kept trying to spit on us. We were too quick for him although he managed to get Mr. Sexton!! After our fun day at Stonehall farm we jumped back on the bus for our trip to Delta. We had great fun chanting DELTA DELTA to the bus driver, just in case he forgot all about it! We were very brave in Delta as they had a climbing wall, huge slides and lots of tricky obstacles. We used lots of energy playing and running around.
